our new PBL

Our new PBl question is: How has new Zealand's past influence today and our future.

So for my follow up i have to write something about the war so I write a diary of a little girl called peggy when it was the times where Hitler roamed the earth.

If you're reading this you just be lucky because I will be telling you what life is like as a child from 1914 during the times where Hitler brainwashed people and tormented them and then he made my father all my brothers fight in war. Since I am a little girl I will be at home practicing and working how to cook, Clean and do all the housework. And we sew blankets, Pillows, I am Peggy brandella I have 5 brothers and 4 sisters I am the 4th oldest  And I am at home with my grandma my grandma Elizabeth Teaches me all those things. My mother is at war being a nurse and healing the wounded. My father and 5 brothers are at war. But me and my grandma Eliza are waiting for the telegram boy to come. The telegram boy is coming in an hour my Grandma said. And then there was a knock on the door.

Turns out My father and my 2 brothers, Gareth and Tyler died in the war. Its heartbreaking but how could the telegram boy just knock on the door and announced that someones loved one is dead and walked away whistling and smiling! I cant believe there dead!. I wish Hitler wasn’t in charge why is he in charge anyway? Oh yeah i forgot be brainwashed people to believing if he got rid of all the Jews then breed the perfect germans than he could create a world of beautiful perfect people but really the germans are not perfect I mean…. He’s killing people he's literally taking the children away from their parents and then and putting then in a gas chamber to die! How is that even being Beautiful you need to be perfect inside and out to be %100 perfect. I hope the country's fight back maybe other countries will take Hitler into a gas chamber and kill him he deserves that and if my grandmother or anyone finds this diary I  am dead……..Thanks for reading I pray that I will get out of this horrible century alive….

For our PBL question it is "How can innovation improve our lives" and by that we go in groups and and create a invention we create CUTLERY KEYS its like cutlery set on a round circle that detaches.  here's a pic:

In my group there is Jin-hee, Gianna, Oliver and me,Holly

I loved my group we had no drama and we got along very well.

Trip to the Museum
On the 16th of September 2019 the Tumu hub went to The Christchurch museum It was a lot of fun. I learnt a lot of stuff especially back in the Maori/Europeans times. Here are five things I learnt:

• Did you know that the expected life span in those times were about 27 years old?
• By the time you were 14 you'd be an adult.
• Since there were edible berry's and then poisons ones the elderly's would be the testers.
• The Maori's made small but high tree house's to keep there food in so animals and rats don't eat their food.
• Moa's were like number one of the biggest pray to the Maori's 

And then we learnt some stuff about Antarctica, Dinosaurs, Insects and Olden day equipment.

So in conclusion it was really fun I learnt so much and I hope you did to.

Winter sport!---Netball

Winter sport 
Hello, for winter sport this past season, I have been playing Netball with my team. Our team name is called "The Tranchulars". In my team there is Pieta, Lucas, Grace, Holly--Me, Molly, Lydia and Eilish.
And This year I think I have improved my defense. In the last 4 games I have got amazing intercepts! 
They are all very talented players and  I'd Like to thank them for being fabulous Netball players. I couldn't get through the season without you Guys!.---And thank you Chantelle--My coach, Thank you for being a great coach!!

Anyway....
Our team is un-deafeaded for this WHOLE season (Sorry if bragging) I'm so proud of myself and everyone else. 
We had 0 Defaults and 2 byes. 
I loved this season of winter sport so much.
If I could choose a different sport to play next time i'd either to do Soccer or rugby.

This is my 3rd post on Doing math board is your not familiar with these I suggest you read my post. Math's boards are what our hub does we have to do one every week. Our hub has a site called "Tumu hub site" on it has learning tips things to do. Math, RE, Writing &reading and more. On the math part of it it has math question you choose one of those questions and on google slides you put the question in--And try to figure it out

At st Francis school The tumu hub likes to do these things called math's boards. They are presented on google slides and on then you write down a math question answer it, show your working out, solve it another way and make a word problem! we have to do one every week.

For math we do these things called math boards.
Another week of school means another math board to complete. Math boards are things we do on google slides. Our teachers give us a list of questions on our hub site we chose one question and work it out on google slides
the question in kinda easy so I can show it easily. 
3 times 30 I knew the answer straight away because 3 threes are nice but just add a zero or another way 10 + 10 + 10 = 30.
